Seemingly Trivial Journey

SEEMINGLY TRIVIAL JOURNEY

INTRODUCTION:

Hello, my name is Nidhish, and I am a student in the B.Tech CSE (AI and robotics) at Vellore Institue of Technology, Chennai. I have created this digital portfolio to showcase my academic achievements, skills, and personal accomplishments in one integrated space. This blog will be  an introduction to my portfolio, providing overview into my journey and summarizing my future aspirations.

WHAT IS PORTFOLIO ?

In my perspective, a portfolio is a showcase of one's professional and personal development and achievements or goals . For most of the students, it is more than just a collection of work; it is a work that displays skills, growth, and potential. A well-maintained portfolio is a testament to an individual's eagerness to succeed, dedication, and expertise.

ABOUT ME :

I’ve always loved solving problems in simple, efficient ways, which pulled me into coding. Growing up on sci-fi made me fascinated with AI, and now I’m driven to explore it hands-on rather than just theoretically. Outside tech, you’ll usually find me watching anime/series, gaming, or occasionally hitting the outdoors.

SKILLS:

> Programming: HTML, CSS, Python, SQL (basic proficiency)

> Problem-solving: Breaking down complex problems into simple solutions

> Learning style: Hands-on, project-based learning

> Other: Quick adaptability, teamwork, and curiosity in exploring AI concepts

PROJECTS:

  • Basic Calculator (Python): A simple calculator handling basic arithmetic operations.

  • Hotel Billing System (Python): Console-based project to automate bill generation for customers.

  • Perfume Webpage (HTML/CSS): A static webpage designed to showcase perfume products with a clean layout.

  • Event Management Website (HTML/CSS): A simple website created to display and manage event details.

FUTURE PLANS:

I aim to expand my skills in Full Stack Development, UI/UX, Game Development, and AI/ML. From my second year, I plan to take up freelancing or paid internships to gain real-world experience. My ultimate goal is to graduate with strong projects and skills, and secure placement in a top-tier company that offers both recognition and growth.

LIFE MOTTO:

My goal is simple: to land my dream job, earn enough to support myself and those who depend on me, and live a life where money is never a barrier to what truly matters. Not about unnecessary spending — just the freedom to live fully without price tags holding me back. Above all, I want to create an impact that continues to exist even without me.

CONCLUSION:

I believe we’re all on a journey of learning and growth, and it’s never too early to start building something meaningful. If you’re passionate about tech, design, or solving problems, keep experimenting and creating — that’s how real learning happens. Let’s connect, collaborate, and push each other to achieve our goals and make an impact.
